She'll be missed...

Unfortunately for us, Barb Jones has accepted a new job in Leduc and will no longer be a member of our Kinette Club. We are sorry to see her go but it sounds like her job will be great for her and wish her nothing but the best!

We just keep on growing!!!

In December we welcomed our two newest members, Tera Blake and Tanya Dafoe! Welcome to you both and congrats to us for having the two of you in our club!

We are pleased to announce that Susan White and Chris Leinweber have recently joined our club, bringing our membership up to 17! Wow! Both joined at our November meeting and we are really looking forward to getting to know them. Congrats ladies on choosing a great way to make some lifelong friends, grow personally and help out your community all at the same time!

Welcome to the Stettler Kinette's Blog!

Kin Canada, founded in 1920, is an all-Canadian service organization made up of active community volunteers.Working together, Kinsmen and Kinettes are enhancing the quality of life in their communities by promoting service, fellowship, positive values and national pride.Kin clubs support cystic fibrosis (CF) research and fund local projects across the country.

To date the Stettler Kinette Club has 15 members and continues to grow. Our general meetings are held the 2nd Wednesday of the month and our Executive meets on the last Wednesday of the month. Each month we meet at a different location.

Although we love getting together just for fun, each month our club volunteers at the Stettler Blood Donor Clinic, we hold an annual Highway Hold-Up to support Cystic Fibrosis, we run a Ladies Night Out fundraiser every second year and we donate and help out many groups in our community. Our Club is home to National Kin President Leona Thorogood and many other fantastic ladies who are committed to serving our community's greatest need! Check us out and feel free to drop us a note!
